The government of Bangladesh has given “Green Factory Award” or “Eco-Friendly Factory Award” to 30 companies of the country. This is the first time that the Ministry of Labor and Employment has launched this award for organizations that have a good factory environment, are environmentally friendly and safe.

In the leather goods sector, Edison Footwear was selected for the award.

Zakaria Shahid, Honorable Managing Director of Edison Group, received the award on behalf of Edison Footwear.
